Starting something new on my website forum called Faithful Fridays.
God’s Faithfulness is timeless. He never changes. I love old barns , but as many years have passed, many are in disrepair . If those walls could talk I am sure there would be many stories they could tell.
God is Faithful to His People and Creation even when we aren’t faithful to Him.
So here is your Scripture encouragement to think about His Faithfulness.
Psalm 107:1-3 World English Bible
1 Give thanks to Yahweh,† for he is good,
for his loving kindness endures forever.
2 Let the redeemed by Yahweh say so,
whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,
3 and gathered out of the lands,
from the east and from the west,
from the north and from the south.
We can’t bless and curse at the same time nor can we complain while we are being thankful. Jesus’ earthly brother James writes it this way:
James 3:8-12 World English Bible
but nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men who are made in the image of God. 10 Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send out from the same opening fresh and bitter water? 12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, yield olives, or a vine figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh water.
Let’s remind ourselves of His Faithfulness today. Maybe record or write down privately, what you declare publicly as reminder when times are difficult.
What are you thankful for this week?
I’ll start…
• I am thankful that God’s mercies are new every morning. I am thankful for a new chance , new opportunity to do what He’s called me to do. That every breath given is a gift He didn’t have to give. - Lamentations 3:22-23
• I am thankful He has promised to guide my steps in both good and difficult situations, if I listen to Him. - Proverbs 3:5-6
