How many times do we go on great trips, or enjoy family time and take photos, but our memory of details fade with time?

Do we take family or friends for granted and don’t think to write down the wisdoms and memories of what they taught us?

Do we sit in hospital rooms on a person’s deathbed or in healthcare faculties wishing we had another moment to write that story told from childhood from our grandparents or parents down?

Do we have to face the early reality of a person’s memory loss through dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, to realize memories are more important than we believed?

What about the days when there are so many thoughts that you need some clarity or way to cope with difficult times?

Journaling and writing can be therapeutic for many.

Do we forever want our social media sites to be the only way we can have precious moments captured? Only to realize one day we may forget our password or be locked forever out of our accounts. What precious memories are lost, all because our world of new and latest technology isn’t the most safe way to store our memories. Sometimes photos or the writing on paper that your reading in your hands is safer.

Let this not describe us and if we do have such regrets , start journaling today so future regrets can be avoided.

Why do you journal? Or will you start today?
