I started journaling when I was a teenager. It became an outlet during a dark time in my life. Journaling became a way to process the emotions I was struggling with . Having a pen and journal, or something as simple as a notepad can help us have a written record. The beginning of my journaling journey started with a spiral notebook and a pen. It doesn't have to be expensive or fancy begin the journey.
Write what should not be forgotten. We have busy lives, and years pass quickly. Our minds may struggle to remember details of precious memories or the need to remember daily tasks.
Journaling can be a written record of life experiences, wisdom, and moments that can be passed on to the next generation. Whether it's remembering Scripture, God's answers to prayer, remembering moments of traveling etc; there are many reasons to get out a pen and paper and write what you don't want to forget.
Now almost fifteen years later since that dark time of my life, God has used journaling in my life to share thoughts about His Word, memorizing scripture, and other ways to process everyday emotions and experiences as I live my life on a journey : the journey of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
I can't wait to share some of that journey with you.
